As I have already said all presentations are very interesting. Many students make presentations that are dedicated to the distance education. I consider that this subject is very popular because nowadays people don’t have enough time and thanks to new technology can promote their knowledge.

Thanks to all these presentations I have learnt much new information.

 TRUTH IS BORN IN DISPUTE

Conversational Media. I chose this topic because I consider that it becomes one of the most important component of contemporary journalism that at the same time cannot exists without one-way media.

I read article of Amy Grahran that dedicated to conversational media. She discusses very interesting aspects and  clearly explain everything.  After reading of her article I understand that we can call conversation when unlimited quantity of people can participate in discussion.

The most interesting comment, from my point of view, is comment of 

 Christian Spannagel :

“Hi Amy!

I totally agree with you that we need both types of media, one that is mainly used to present information, and one that allows for discussion. It’s similar to school lessons where students should read a text first (inform) and talk about the text afterwards (discuss).

Discussing without being informed does not work. So, let’s use the one-way media to get information, and let’s discuss it afterwards to validate the information.”

I think that she is absolutely right. Furthermore, I consider that conversational media was created specially for this purpose. It is very useful and interesting for journalist to know what people think about him or her article or report. Furthermore, I think discussion is tool that can help to get the truth and raise new problem. When we shut our eyes to probelms, they become more difficult. 

 All presentation are very interesting but the most impressionable was presentation that isdedicated to online acquaintance. It is very funny but at the same time it discoversall advantages and disadvantages of this subject. Moreover, it contents real examples that are very interesting. Furthermore, this group conducted research.

From my point of view, online acquaintances becomes more and more popular because nowadays people are very busy and do not have time for meeting.

Nevertheless, on-line acquaintances never replace real when you can see eyes of each other…

Several days ago, one South Korea student of Technical University of Virginia (USA) killed 33 his own classmate and teachers.

This event  shocked me…

I can’t believe that it can take place in peace time. Our life become more and more dangerous, you cannot feel safe anywhere.  I can imagine what subject can infuriate this man. I think that either he drug addict or mad.

This subject is very interesting and has many advantages and disadvantages. From one side, we want to feel yourselves in perfect security but if this security is full control of our life, I do need it. I think that surveillance of people is like infection: if government starts it, they can’t stop themselves.

I consider that all information about us should be used only in extra situations and only by policies, but nobody,from my point of view, can guarantee us full security of private information. In Russia, everybody can buy any databases  on every corner.
