Journalism and New Information Technologies
Today new information technologies play one of the most important role in our life. It allows anybody to get any information that he or she wants, visit museums and of course commune with people who can be located on the another world’s end.
New information technologies and journalism, from my point of view, can’t exist without each other because they help journalists to receive and transmit any kind of information.
Nevertheless, nowadays new technologies permit anyone to spread any information. It can be true or false. Very often weblogs are used for this purpose. But sometimes people, who publish articles in weblogs, forget that information can be a very powerful weapon that can hurt anybody if you don’t right use it. Futhermore, publication of false information can be classified as “information terrorism” that can be compared with ordinary terrorism. It can unleash war or sow discord among people. Therefore, I call all weblogers to be more responsible and careful.
Community
Community, from my point of view, is a society where we can express our thoughts and ideas and find support. It helps people to realize themselves as an individual. My communities are my family and friends.
Family is my relatives therefore they are my the closest people who always help and support me. I can take them into my confidence and can be sure that they keep all information a secret.
My friends are mostly people with whom I study at university. We always help each other to do some work or to solve different problems. All of my friends are my coevals. We have common interests and interested in the same things, as a result, we have absolute mutual understanding
Dismantling of Monument of Soviet Soldier in Estonia
Two days ago, I read the article that was dedicated to dismantling of monument of soviet soldier in Estonia. It put me out of countenance. I was shocked. I could not believed that civic people and society can support nazism and fascizm.
Proponents of this action argue that many years they were occupied by USSR. My mother and brother were in Latvia and Estonia in the end 1980s and said that these countries lived better and had more freedom than all Soviet states.
Furthermore, Soviet soldier is a symbol of struggle of all world with fascism and does not concern occupation.
I think that they forgot that 60 years ago, world was on the verge of doomsday and if Soviet Union didn’t won World War II, I can’t image what life would be now. My grandfather was in captivity and told me about all horrors of fascism. Idon’t want to tell about them now.
The most terrible thing that this situation is used by diputies of Estonia in order to win elections that will be on 4th of March. Nothing is sacred to with them…
We Media
This article contents a chapter that is dedicated to “participatory journalism”. It’s very interesting and it has much new information. Before reading it I have never heard about this direction of journalism that becomes very popular and widespread.
I agree that “participatory journalists” are more objective because very difficult to be impartial when you are under the pressure of editors and sponsors, producers, etc. Furthermore, I consider that a “citizen journalist” is a voice of ordinary people. He or she expresses thoughts and anxieties that exist in society. Moreover, newspaper’s editors who have such reporters can easy get know that information is more popular at the present moment and tell about it more comprehensively.
Nevertheless, often this kind of reporters do not have special education, as a result, their describing of event can be inaccurate therefore it can create many problems for editors.

Relation of Age, Education and Others Parameters With Motives of Change of Job of Almaty Employees

In the last semester I and my workmate investigated this problem. Now, I want to publish the result section of this work. It can be interesting for students because everyone some day become a worker.
This investigation was conducted among 100 employees. All people are different and have different priorities; therefore the results of questionnaires were not easy analyzed. The results of the research has to be viewed as the average of the opinions of only 100 people. The answers varied very much primarily because this investigation covered wide range of people. There were office workers, engineers, top managers, and others. Finally, very interesting results were found.
Most part of employees is satisfied with their current workplaces and income level; managers of the companies support professional rise of workers. There are very good indexes for Almaty and its firms. Furthermore it means that workers and employers find understanding. It is evident that chiefs meet employees halfway in many questions and fully evaluate their professional abilities. Moreover, many companies are interested in good specialists who constantly develop their own acquired habits because such employees can raise labor productivity and increase profit of company.
Men put absence of professional rise on the 1st place and it can be explained by such assumption that a man is a leader of family who is concerned about its material well-being several times greater than women. Professional raise always accompanied by increase of salary. In contrast to men, women attach great importance to working conditions because ladies by nature aim to cleanness. It is very surprisingly that women confer family circumstances, which include in birth of children only penultimate place, although it is considered that ladies in most of cases quit a job because of this motive.
Also, it was elucidated that young workers aim to high level of salary because in 20-30 years many of them have not wide experience therefore level of salary is very low. It can be proved by such fact that employees who belong to 31- 40 age group aspire to good relations with employer and colleagues. In 41year employees quit a work on account of absence of professional raise because their length of service and professional abilities meet the requirements of position of top manager.
This investigation helped to find out that workers who completed only high school or college also want to receive good salary because employers lowly appraise such level of education.
At the same time, employees who have got bachelor or master’s degree put level of salary on the 2nd because this education is evaluated higher. It was also discovered that respondents who finished only high school evaluate family circumstances higher than people who have got bachelor or master’s degree. It can be explained by such fact than employees with low level of education (high school) could not have entered university account of early marriage.
It was discovered that personnel whose length of service is more than 5 years also aim to professional rise because have enough length of service in order to be a head of company. Moreover, employees who have length of experience more than 3 years do not attach importance to such motive of changing work as monotonous job because very often workers get accustomed to monotony during this time.
It was found out that many office workers put on the 1st place such cause of quitting job as absence of understanding with chief because this staff is in close touch with principal (it is one of the biggest problems of many Almaty companies); therefore, directly depend on them.
Analysis of open question shows that a high level of salary is the basic component of dream work.
